How To Support Us

Ways To Get Involved

There are many ways to support St Martins Diocesan Home for Children. Whether you give financially, volunteer your time, or partner with us as an organisation, your contribution helps provide safety, healing and opportunity for every child in our care.

There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.” — Nelson Mandela

Hand in Hand – Our Fundraising Partners

St Martin’s Diocesan Home for Children is proudly supported by Hand in Hand, our dedicated fundraising partners. Hand in Hand works alongside the Home to raise essential funds that help us provide care, stability, and opportunity for the children entrusted to us.

As part of their role, Hand in Hand manages specific fundraising initiatives on behalf of St Martin’s and operates using their own designated bank account for these campaigns. This allows for transparent, accountable fundraising while ensuring that all funds raised are directed towards supporting the children and the ongoing work of the Home.

Through ethical and transparent fundraising practices, Hand in Hand connects St Martin’s with individuals, organisations, and communities who wish to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children. Their ongoing support plays a vital role in ensuring the sustainability of the Home and the continued well-being of the children in our care.

Make A Donation

Your donation directly supports the daily needs and long-term wellbeing of the children who call St Martins home. Contributions help provide:

  • Nutritious meals and essentials
  • School fees, supplies and tutoring
  • Therapeutic and emotional support
  • Medical care and assessments
  • Clothing and personal items
  • Maintenance and improvements to our facilities

Legacy Giving (Bequests)
You can also support St Martins through a bequest by leaving a percentage of your estate to the Home in your will. This form of giving creates a lasting legacy, helping to provide care, safety and opportunity for children long into the future.

Even a small percentage can make a meaningful difference. As a registered NPO and PBO with Section 18A approval, we can issue tax-deductible certificates for qualifying donations.

Professional services — such as medical, educational, psychological, mechanical, or technical support — also help meet important needs.

Have a meal for a child

Sometimes the simplest acts of kindness make the biggest difference. By donating the value of a meal or snack each month, you can help provide nutritious food and daily essentials for the children who call St Martins home.

Many of our supporters choose to contribute the cost of a single meal — something as simple as what you might spend on lunch or a coffee — to help ensure every child in our care is well fed and supported.

Even a small monthly gift can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our children.
