Who We Are
A Home Built on Care, Healing and Hope
Founded in 1897, St Martins Diocesan Home for Children is a registered NPO and PBO providing residential care for up to 75 children aged 3–18 who have been placed with us by the courts for their safety and wellbeing. Our home offers stability, healing, and guidance as each child grows towards independence and reunification with family wherever possible.
What We Do... Our Programs
Residential Care & Safety
A nurturing, structured environment for children who have experienced neglect, abuse or instability, ensuring their daily needs and wellbeing are prioritised.
Therapeutic & Emotional Support
Our therapeutic team, social worker and child & youth care workers walk closely with every child, building resilience, confidence and emotional healing.
Education & Life Skills
From homework support and tutoring to partnerships with schools, volunteers and specialist programs, we strengthen each child’s educational journey.
Family Reunification
Where safe and possible, we work towards reuniting children with their families — restoring connection, hope and the possibility of a stable future together.
