"No one ever became poor by giving"  Anne Frank

For those wishing to help the St. Martin's Children's Home, there are many ways in which you can donate. By far, the quickest and easiest method will be through this website where you can set up a monthly contribution of your choice, or, make a once off donation of any amount. It is secure and safe and made possible by Setcom.

St Martin’s is registered as a Non-Profit Organisation (Reg. No: 002 – 111 NPO) in terms of the following acts:

  •  Section 42 of the Children’s Act No. 33 of 1960
  • Section 18A of the Income Tax Act

Due to St. Martin's being a registered PBO (Public Benefit Organization) it is in a position to issue individuals and companies  with Section 18A receipts for any donations made.  This will effectively make your donation 100% tax deductible. (Section 18A receipts only issued upon request thereof via E-mail/phone/writing)

Donation options include:

Please contact us, for more information.

Due to the large amount of material donations St. Martin's receives, the Home is unable to accept any more donations of the following:

- Books/magazines
- Toys
- Old furniture/chairs
- Old computers and equipment
- Sports equipment
- Old appliances/fridges etc

St. Martin's does not want to appear ungrateful but due to the huge quantity of donations received has simply run out of space to store everything. We however are in need of the following:

- Clothes and shoes in good condition for children of all ages.
- School stationery items like pens, glue scissors etc.
- Donations of sweets, snacks and food items.
